chev·ron
1. A badge consisting of stripes meeting at an angle, worn on the sleeve by noncommissioned officers, police officers, etc., as an indication of rank, service, or the like.
2. An ornament in this form, as on a molding.
4. Current obsession of many in the wedding and design world. Accented by the feature on Million Dollar Decorators and Mary McDonalds use of it painted on a floor. Also used in Missoni prints for decades and something I've personally lusted after since being in fashion classes in college. To be fair I own one cardigan and a scarf from my BBF but thats clearly not enough.
5. Lastly, one of the great patterns that these two designers here at Events In The City are using up in weddings, photoshoots and in our homes shortly. Stay tuned.
