And the final special present this year went to a very special woman who is much more than a vendor of ours. Someone who gives her all, all the time, to everyone. Someone who has burned down our cell phone batteries night after night with amazing talks and has shown up to special events like my baby shower without question. Here is a the Happy Birthday gift our crew delivered with huge smiles on our faces. (This picture was taken in the car on the way there!)

A pair of red Toms Shoes, Starbucks mug and gift card, homemade peanut butter chocolates from Harrisonburg, VA, and foot cream from L'Occitaine ....a "Kick Your Feet Up and Enjoy" gift if you will. Gift box from Paper Source and yes I (gladly) used the last of my special felt ribbon too.

We know she appreciated it but doing just a little something for someone else is truly what makes us happiest and what this season was all about.

And continued from earlier today....

Christmas Gifts for my besties, Tyler and Lauren. I went a little crazy between good ol' Anthropologie and Paper Source. But hey, when it works it works. I think they key here was the fact that I knew we would all be exchanging gifts together so I got them the same things with slight differences.

 A pretty ikat bowl, a fab necklace, useful notecards and fun envelopes. Simple, thoughtful and crowd pleasing. Tyler's favorite color is yellow so keeping that in mind she got yellow envelopes and a coordinating necklace. Lauren got a red necklace, red envelopes and a chartreuse version of the some little ikat bowl. 

I had been eyeing all of the fab Anthropologie wrapping paper for the whole month of December and when it conveniently went on sale, I went nutty. As you can see it was all worth it. I am obsessed with the handmade wrapping paper and vintage stamps from around the world.

Lauren's present all wrapped up included a one of two felt ribbon accents I have been saving for over a year. She deserves it. (though I made her swear not to throw it out) Her gift tag got two stamps from Spain since she just went there with her hubby earlier this year.

Tyler again gets the yellow accent with the ribbon here and two stamps on England since we are going on our "European Vacation" together in April starting in Jolly Ol' England.

It’s been said that what matters most is inside, right? Well with presents, it’s not just what’s inside that counts, but also the personality that each gift shows. To make a gift more unique and special to the person it’s for, it should look present-able from the outside too.

It goes without saying that I LOVE to gift people with a gorgeous prezzie and something that speaks to them, their style and definitely with something unique inside.

Check out this first gift set we handcrafted for a hostess gift this past month. The lovely ladies of EVOKE through a fabulous party for us wedding industry folks and we of course couldn't show us empty handed. Insert fabulous gift for the four ladies of this stellar event planning firm.

I shopped at one of our fav places, Old Lucketts Store, for a set of vintage rocks glasses. From there I was on a roll with all the accouterments to surround these glasses with. Fun matches and beverage napkins, Fun Swizzle Sticks, a coffee table book about wonderful Toasts, Vodka, Pomegranate Mix and a personalized recipe for the first drink for those ladies to cheers with in those fab glasses. All wrapped up in a gold glitter box with a special card we made.

Pretty Panties with Postage!

 My hands down favorite gift at my bridal shower was a 6 month subscription to Panty By Post given to me by my maid of honor. Yup, that’s right; it’s like a wine-of-the-month club but for sweet and sexy French panties! (Let’s be honest, it was my fiancé’s favorite bridal shower gift as well!)
