On a frigid 40 degree day Stephanie Motal and Ho Nguyen melted the hearts of everyone in attendance of their vows at the stunning Sunset Crest Manor. This couple stole my heart from the very beginning. With such excitement we began to plan a Creative Black Tie affair. So what does that mean.. Well according to Martha it means gents are to dress up their suits with jazzy ties, funky socks, and interesting flair. For the ladies... anything goes! With this idea in mind we wove together eclectic pieces,artistic creations, and plenty of silly touches that reminded all of their guests that they were to have an incredible time!

This bouquet was made for Stephanie by one of her bridesmaids!

These escort cards caused quite the stir :)

So Stephanie and Ho memorized the iconic dance from Napoleon Dynamite, it was incredible! In fact maybe I should send them some moon boots as an anniversary present.

Everyone Dashing for " Staches"

So any of you who have known me or my family for a decent period of time will note that I have been haunted by mustaches. My father Mr. Don Juan Mastachio ( his alias for protection) has worn one since before my birth.In fact it is quite odd to say that I have never ever seen his upper lip. I mean if that mustache could talk!

My husband who doesn't typically choose this form of expression will grow his mustache for the annual Mustache Invitational typically held in the chillier months when mustache's are a form of protection from the elements. As a founding father it is clear that throwing insane events is a common thread. So as I found the mustaches circling me like sharks in the water I realized they are everywhere! They have even creeped into my beloved wedding industry. This past weekend as I pinned a boutoneir on a groomsmen and  wore a grey mustache nick named the " the scoundrel" given by the gents, ( picture to come) I thought I should probably write this story down ;) So here is a few fun things we have seen along the way that may make your mustaches curl...
