Lanterns and crystals hanging from the ceiling of your ballroom or tent have been seen before. And as gorgeous as they are, try this fun twinkle instead. Hanging glass blown candleholders like these from CB2 are a steal! And if you don't know what CB2 is...oh man....Its Crate and Barrel's cheaper sister store and has amazing stuff for home, office and decor. Going modern for your event? Start here for some inspiration or order away.
This Whirly Hanging Candleholder is only $3.95 ea. or a pack of six for $29.95 which you could put LED tealights or real ones inside. Not to mention a single bloom sitting inside like an orchid or fluffy peony.
Hang at varying heights to create drama. Getting married under a chuppah or have a plain wall behind your placecards? What an amazing way to create some interest and on the cheap too. Think upgraded more modern college beaded curtain that used to hang in your doorway.
Its a centerpiece all its own, imagine this with a mix of votives AND flowers intermixed. No need to clutter up the rest of the table. Great modern glassware and chic chargers...done and done.
Looks like a chandalier from first glance...strung with colored twine...a pop color probably works best like this orange here. What a great way to highlight your headtable at your reception!
Air Plants and Tillandsias are friends of Terrariums (a very fun trend for plant growing in a glass ball circa 1970s...this era is going to be taking over your life stylewise this Spring/Summer too so get used to it)
Did you just say "what the....?" Ha...I know I know super funky.
These plants don't need much love other than a spray a day and once weekly dip of water. Again super modern option to pop into these hanging glass holders, but if you are going unique and Green (both literrally and color palette) this is a great option.
These were really cool options from Plant Oddities which sell the plant AND the glass together with most under $20. Like it but think its crazy for an event...try this in your home. If you're like me you can't keep a fern alive for more than a week....these are pretty much dummy proof.
